"PK-man" Ted Owens made a claim to fame by stating he could alter the weather through psychokinetic forces. His specialty was freakish weather: hurricanes, thunder, and downpours. He was flamboyant, vengeful and obsessive. His desire to be researched and recognized resulted in an archive of over a thousand letters and newspaper clippings, as well as numerous hours of taped material.

The performance-lecture Ted Owens:The Darndest Miracle you've ever seen is a monologue based on these tapes and letters. The performance is focussing on the magic of Owens' thinking, his increasing frustration and agression towards the world around him, and the contrast between that anger and the beauty of his visualizations.

Co-produced by Grand Theatre and Pavlov Medialab.
Performed at Grand Theatre, DeFKa, and Meneer de Wit.
